Project Execuive (Service Division)

Position Summary
The Project Executive (Service Division) provides senior-level leadership across service project execution, client relationships, and operational performance. This role is responsible for overseeing complex service initiatives from planning through delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.

The Project Executive partners closely with service operations, field leadership, estimating, and senior management to drive consistency, profitability, and service excellence while mentoring and supporting project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of service projects, from intake and planning through completion

  • Coordinate internal teams including service managers, project engineers, coordinators, and field technicians

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex project, client, or operational challenges

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality expectations, and company procedures

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the senior client liaison throughout service engagements

  • Lead client meetings, project reviews, and service performance discussions

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution

Financial & Contract Oversight

  • Monitor project financials including budgets, forecasts, margins, and cost controls

  • Review scopes of work, service agreements, and change orders to ensure accuracy and profitability

  • Partner with sales and estimating teams to support service growth and renewal opportunities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project engineers, coordinators, and service leadership staff

  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and safety-first service culture

  • Support succession planning and team growth within the service division

Internal Collaboration

  • Participate in operations reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic planning initiatives

  • Drive process improvements and standardization across service project execution

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical service, construction, or project leadership (HVAC, plumbing, or controls preferred)

  • Demonstrated success managing complex service projects and operational teams

  • Strong financial, scheduling, and risk-management capabilities

  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
