Project Sales Representative – HVAC

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Sales Representative to drive sales of HVAC service projects in the Toledo, OH market. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong technical background in mechanical systems who is passionate about building relationships, solving customer challenges, and delivering high-value solutions. As part of our team, you will work directly with building owners, property managers, and facility decision-makers to identify opportunities, provide consultative guidance, and deliver customized HVAC service project solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales of HVAC service projects by targeting new customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
- Conduct site visits and technical assessments to identify project opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Partner closely with internal engineering and operations teams to prepare cost estimates, proposals, and project scopes.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent activity to achieve revenue goals.
- Manage the entire sales process including proposal development, contract negotiations, and project handoff.
- Stay engaged with customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and identify follow-on opportunities.
- Maintain a strong presence in the local market through customer visits, networking, and industry involvement.
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of sales experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of selling HVAC service projects or mechanical system solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and building operations.
- Skilled at developing proposals, reviewing contracts, and negotiating agreements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
