Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of owner-furnished, contractor-installed (OFCI) projects involving medium voltage electrical equipment. This role manages projects from order receipt through completion, with direct responsibility for execution and technical support during the business development process. You’ll work in a collaborative environment alongside sales, engineers, project developers, administrators, consultants, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Support sales and business development by assisting with proposals and customer quotes.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring needs are met.
Coordinate material orders with manufacturers, including production schedules, FAT, shipping, delivery, and startup.
Track project progress, maintain documentation, and provide updates to customers and internal teams.
Manage submittals, reports, commissioning documentation, and job tracking software updates.
Resolve issues such as shipment delays or project changes in coordination with manufacturers and sales.
Participate in factory testing and site startup activities, including inspections and commissioning reports.
Collaborate with project administrators on invoicing and project tracking.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years of experience, or 5–10 years of relevant industry experience in electrical equipment sales/installation (medium voltage switchgear, transformers, substations, CX boards, PDUs).
Project management or operations management experience preferred.
Familiarity with manufacturers such as SEL, S&C, or Howard a plus.
OSHA, NFPA, ANSI/NETA certifications are advantageous.
Basic AutoCAD skills a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ability to manage conflict, analyze business needs, and provide effective solutions.
