With a strong reputation for collaboration and technical expertise, they are growing their team and seeking a Plumbing Design Drafter to support their expanding pipeline of projects.

Position Overview:
The Plumbing Design Drafter will play a crucial role in supporting engineers and project teams by preparing detailed drawings and layouts of plumbing systems. This position is ideal for someone with strong drafting skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in working on a variety of design-build projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate plumbing system drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit for design-build projects.

  • Collaborate with plumbing engineers and project managers to translate design concepts into coordinated, buildable plans.

  • Draft water, sanitary, storm, and vent piping systems in compliance with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

  • Assist in identifying and resolving design conflicts through coordination with other trades (mechanical, electrical, architectural).

  • Support revisions, updates, and documentation of project drawings throughout the design and construction phases.

  • Maintain organized drawing files and contribute to overall project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit (Revit experience strongly preferred).

  • 2+ years of drafting or design experience in plumbing, mechanical, or MEP environments.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work under deadlines.

  • Familiarity with construction documents and specifications.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
