Our Client is an established Sustainable Energy Service provider looking to add an Energy Engineer to their growing team in the Dallas or Fort Worth areas.
Essential Functions
- Frequent travel (30%) and overnight stays required.
- Conducts site surveys to identify inefficiencies, analyze utility bills, and provide technical, cost-effective solutions.
- Creates and communicates technical plans, both written and schematic, to ensure clear communication among internal teams, contractors, and customers.
- Performs energy and cost savings calculations, life cycle analysis, and feasibility assessments to ensure guaranteed savings and risk management.
- Develops financial models and collaborates with Account Executives and Project Managers to present proposals.
- Oversees subcontractors, ensures quality installation, and approves equipment orders for accurate estimates and timely delivery.
- Ensures energy and operational guarantees are met, stays current on technology, and keeps up with relevant regional legislation.
- Serves as a technical resource consultant, maintaining expertise in energy and facility operations.
Background
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited Engineering/Technology program or equivalent
- Seven (7) years’ experience in a construction or energy service related field or three (3) years as an Energy Engineer with ESPC.
