About the Role:
As a Wastewater Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing, designing, and implementing municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including construction, energy efficiency, and performance contracting experts—to deliver projects that improve system reliability, reduce costs, and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of wastewater treatment and conveyance systems.
Perform hydraulic and process modeling, equipment selection, and system optimization.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications to support project execution.
Collaborate with project managers and energy engineers to integrate water/wastewater solutions into larger infrastructure projects.
Support permitting and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct field assessments and site investigations to develop tailored engineering solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (Master’s a plus).
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain within 1–2 years.
3–7 years of experience in water/wastewater system design, operation, or project management.
Knowledge of treatment technologies, pump stations, collection/distribution systems, and regulatory standards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
