We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead, mentor, and scale our sales organization across the Florida region. This is a high-impact, regional leadership role ideal for a hands-on, driven sales leader who is passionate about building infrastructure, coaching teams, and delivering revenue growth. You will own the sales process and strategy execution across Central and Southeast Florida, playing a vital role in shaping the future of a region receiving significant investment and attention from private equity stakeholders.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Design and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to implement the owner-direct sales model throughout the region.
Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, recruit, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Emphasize development through hands-on coaching, ride-alongs, and active participation in client engagement, presentations, and deal strategy.
Territory Management: Oversee sales activities across multiple metro areas, including Tampa and West Palm Beach. Expect 30–50% travel to ensure visibility, support, and accountability across offices.
Collaboration: Work alongside the regional president to co-develop a winning culture and scalable infrastructure. Partner with the EVP of Sales to ensure alignment with national strategy.
Client Focus: Cultivate direct relationships with institutional, commercial, industrial, and federal clients. Emphasize an owner-direct approach.
Process Ownership: Build and continuously improve the sales process, performance management structure, and reporting systems to drive results and accountability.
Proven track record leading successful sales teams and delivering year-over-year revenue growth
Experience building and scaling sales infrastructure in a B2B environment
Exceptional coaching and leadership skills, with a passion for developing sales talent
A “hands-on” leader with strong business acumen and the ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with reps and executives alike
Ability to travel extensively across Florida as needed (30–50%)
Background in building performance industries (MEP, industrial services, etc.) is preferred.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with a focus on performance and accountability
Bachelor’s degree preferred
