Their team supports a wide range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional facilities throughout the region.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a results-oriented Account Executive to join our client’s growing team. This role is focused on expanding market share across New York and New Jersey by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and offering tailored BAS solutions that meet customer needs and building performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with mechanical contractors, property managers, consulting engineers, and building owners across NY/NJ.

  • Identify new business opportunities including retrofit projects, energy upgrades, and new construction.

  • Conduct client needs assessments and deliver tailored BAS solutions aligned with technical and budgetary goals.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to estimate, propose, and close opportunities.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets, pipeline development metrics, and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Stay current with BAS technologies, energy trends, and market dynamics in the NY/NJ region.

  • Represent the company at regional industry events and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or smart building technologies.

  • Familiarity with BAS platforms such as Tridium, Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Distech, etc.

  • Established network of contacts in the New York/New Jersey construction or building services market is a strong plus.

  • Proven track record of building and closing technical sales in a B2B environment.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
