Job Title: Account Executive – Building Automation Systems

With a strong reputation for delivering intelligent building solutions, they specialize in designing, installing, and servicing advanced BAS platforms that drive energy efficiency, operational performance, and occupant comfort. Their team supports a wide range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional facilities throughout the region.
We’re seeking a results-oriented Account Executive to join our client’s growing team. This role is focused on expanding market share across New York and New Jersey by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating long-term client relationships, and offering tailored BAS solutions that meet customer needs and building performance goals.
Develop and manage relationships with mechanical contractors, property managers, consulting engineers, and building owners across NY/NJ.
Identify new business opportunities including retrofit projects, energy upgrades, and new construction.
Conduct client needs assessments and deliver tailored BAS solutions aligned with technical and budgetary goals.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to estimate, propose, and close opportunities.
Meet or exceed sales targets, pipeline development metrics, and customer satisfaction goals.
Stay current with BAS technologies, energy trends, and market dynamics in the NY/NJ region.
Represent the company at regional industry events and networking opportunities.
3+ years of sales experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or smart building technologies.
Familiarity with BAS platforms such as Tridium, Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Distech, etc.
Established network of contacts in the New York/New Jersey construction or building services market is a strong plus.
Proven track record of building and closing technical sales in a B2B environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
