Sales Specialist - Aquatics

Position: Aquatic Sales Specialist
An established firm in the aquatic services industry is seeking an Aquatic Sales Specialist to manage and close sales opportunities from pre-qualified leads. This role involves presenting solutions to potential clients, addressing objections, conducting product demonstrations, and finalizing contracts.

Key Responsibilities
General Sales
  • Receive and act on sales leads generated by the business development team
  • Conduct on-site meetings and product demonstrations for prospective clients
  • Provide tailored product and service recommendations based on client needs
  • Present pricing details and contract terms clearly and professionally
  • Coordinate with service teams to determine scheduling and communicate timelines to clients
  • Draft and finalize sales contracts or purchase orders
  • Track activity using CRM software and internal spreadsheets
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication with internal service teams after sales close
Service, Equipment, and Chemical Sales
  • Enter and manage sales orders and bids
  • Support timely procurement and order processing
  • Maintain customer contact to ensure accuracy and satisfaction throughout the process
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure all product literature and promotional materials are current
  • Achieve or exceed monthly gross profit goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals including operators, designers, and contractors
  • Leverage various lead generation methods, including networking, referrals, and cold outreach
  • Participate in the creation of marketing materials, campaign planning, and customer outreach efforts
  • Attend industry events such as trade shows and conferences
Renovation Sales
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, some of which may occur outside typical business hours
  • Develop budgets and proposals for renovation work such as plastering, deck coatings, equipment installation, and other facility upgrades
  • Finalize renovation contracts and coordinate with internal teams for project scheduling
  • Track and report closed renovation deals for internal metrics

Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency with social media platforms for promotional and sales purposes
  • Commercial sales experience preferred
  • Aquatic industry experience is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
