Chief Commercial Officer – Confidential Industrial Manufacturing Company

Our client, a private-equity-backed, fast-growing industrial manufacturing company specializing in innovative electrical power solutions is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join its executive team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will lead all commercial functions including sales, marketing, and customer support, playing a key role in scaling the business and enhancing customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Strategy & Execution:
    Lead development and execution of go-to-market strategies to drive revenue, expand market share, and improve customer retention.

  • Team Leadership:
    Build a high-performance, accountable commercial team; attract and develop top talent while promoting a culture of growth and ownership.

  • Data-Driven Operations:
    Leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making, optimize commercial performance, and enable transparency across teams.

  • Scalability & Integration:
    Prepare systems and teams for aggressive growth—both organic and through M&A. Lead integration efforts to ensure consistency, performance, and value realization.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Improve communication and process alignment across departments from sales through delivery to ensure high operational effectiveness.

  • Executive Partnership:
    Be a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. Actively participate in shaping the company’s long-term vision and goals.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years in senior commercial leadership roles within industrial/manufacturing business. 

  • Proven success in scaling commercial operations, ideally in a private equity-backed environment.

  • Strong background in leading sales, marketing, and customer support/success functions through high-growth phases and M&A integration.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimize systems, structures, and teams to support top-line and EBITDA growth.

  • Executive presence with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders.
