Our client is a well-known mechanical contractor who is looking to bring on an HVAC/R Technician to continue to grow their Nashville office. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including split systems, rooftop units, chillers, walk-in coolers/freezers, and more.

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and recommend cost-effective solutions.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications.

• Test systems for proper operation and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and reports using mobile or paper systems.

• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding services performed and recommendations.

• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC/R preferred.

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Type II or Universal required).

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC/R service or installation.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, refrigerants, and control systems.

• Ability to use tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment properly and safely.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
