Design, program, configure, and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS) using platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or similar.
Analyze system architecture and performance to recommend and implement improvements.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex BAS issues across HVAC, lighting, energy management, and integration with third-party systems.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field technicians, project managers, and engineers.
Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure proper BAS system layout, device selection, and wiring standards.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including system diagrams, control sequences, and commissioning reports.
Stay current with emerging technologies and standards in building automation, IoT, and smart building solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, cybersecurity protocols, and customer requirements.
Support clients and stakeholders by providing advanced technical support, system audits, and training.
5+ years of experience with Building Automation Systems, HVAC controls, and integrated smart building technologies.
Proficiency in one or more major BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell).
Strong understanding of control logic, network infrastructure, BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other protocols.
Experience with energy management systems and strategies.
Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Niagara AX/N4 Certification (or equivalent platform-specific credentials).
LEED Accreditation or CEM (Certified Energy Manager) a plus.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in building automation.
Experience with cloud-based BAS analytics platforms and remote monitoring tools.
