Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand market share. This executive will oversee sales operations across three regional offices, managing a high-performing sales team and optimizing business development efforts. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the energy services, HVAC, elevator, or roofing industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals, ensuring aggressive yet sustainable growth.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and penetrating new markets.
  • Process Optimization: Establish and refine sales processes, leveraging CRM tools and data analytics to enhance efficiency and forecasting.
  • Market Expansion: Develop strategic partnerships, assess market trends, and identify opportunities for geographic and service expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor sales KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to executive leadership to optimize performance and profitability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Industry Expertise: 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within the commercial roofing, construction, or building materials industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, manage, and motivate high-performing sales teams across multiple locations.
  • Revenue Generation: Demonstrated success in scaling sales organizations and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Relationship Management: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to cultivate long-term client relationships.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience utilizing CRM systems, sales automation tools, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
