Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Service Manager to lead our service team and ensure exceptional service delivery to our commercial clients. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing service operations, managing client relationships, and driving operational efficiency while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor the service team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, architects, consultants, property managers, building owners, and other key stakeholders.
Oversee the development and implementation of service strategies to meet company goals and client needs.
Coordinate and manage service projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
Review and approve contracts, Notice to Proceed (NTP) letters, and project scopes for accuracy and feasibility.
Monitor and analyze project performance, including job completion financial analysis and performance metrics tracking.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities and service packages.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and estimates, including measuring buildings, verifying dimensions, and conducting site visits as needed.
Ensure accurate maintenance of bid calendars and timely reporting of updates to the team.
Plan and execute marketing outreach activities to promote the company’s service offerings and expand market share.
Requirements:
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems and experience managing projects involving single-ply, asphalt, cold-applied, hot-applied, and metal applications preferred but not required.
Proven track record in managing service teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
5+ years of experience in construction, industrial service, or project management roles.
Demonstrated success in growing market share and developing long-term client relationships.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with an emphasis on follow-up and attention to detail.
High-level written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in relevant computer applications.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma / GED required.
Degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred but not necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
