Driver/Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities:

Material Transportation:
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while driving.
Warehouse Management:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the correct materials are delivered to the right locations.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safe and reliable operation of company vehicles.
- Report any vehicle issues promptly to the appropriate personnel for repairs.
Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely transportation of materials.
Documentation:
- Complete and maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to transportation and warehouse activities.
- Collect and verify delivery receipts and other necessary documentation.
Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Participate in safety training programs and adhere to safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a construction or warehouse environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of construction materials and their handling is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent.
